At Big Charm Players, we believe great theatre reflects the full richness of the community around it. We are committed to inclusive, welcoming auditions and casting, and we actively encourage people of all races, ethnicities, ages, genders, abilities, backgrounds, and life experiences to audition for our productions.

Diversity is how we tell better stories.

We welcome performers of all backgrounds, identities, and experience levels—everyone is encouraged to audition. Our theatre is committed to an inclusive, non-discriminatory environment where every voice belongs.

A man in a gray suit and pink tie is sitting on a dark blue armchair, smiling and clasping his hands. There is a table with bread and napkins in front of him, and a person with an outstretched hand is visible on the right side of the image. The background includes a white door, beige walls, and black wall sconces.

What to Expect at Auditions

We know auditions can feel intimidating, especially if it's your first time. Big Charm Players is committed to making the process as welcoming and transparent as possible.

Audition notices will be posted throughout the season, prior to each production.

Each notice will include the show description, character breakdowns, audition format and role requirements.

All experience levels are welcome, from first-timers to seasoned performers.

Questions are always welcome; before, during, and after auditions.
